I’m Delaine A. Deer, a visionary leader, mentor, and advocate for women and marginalized voices in project management. As the founder of ProWorks Hive, I’ve created a transformative community equipping diverse professionals with the skills, confidence, and support to thrive as leaders.
With over 20 years of experience, I’ve led initiatives securing $450M in federal funding, developed over 70 professional development courses, and mentored more than 100 women into leadership roles. My expertise spans leadership development, organizational change management, and innovative problem-solving—grounded in the belief that inclusive leadership drives meaningful change.
ProWorks Hive is a movement to inspire and empower. By fostering innovation and inclusive environments, I help individuals and organizations build a future shaped by diverse leaders. Whether mentoring emerging professionals, designing leadership courses, or speaking at global conferences, my mission remains the same: to educate, inspire, and lead authentically.
As a keynote speaker and thought leader, I specialize in inclusive leadership, project excellence, and career growth. I empower women to excel in male-dominated fields with practical strategies that build clarity, confidence, and authentic leadership.
Beyond ProWorks Hive, I dedicate time to Abodes of Joy, where I teach home repair skills to women and serve on their board. I’m also the author of upcoming books focused on empowering women in construction, project management, and leadership.
Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of building teams, leading complex projects, and coaching women to step confidently into leadership. While progress continues, decision-making spaces still lack diverse representation—a challenge I’m committed to addressing.
My goal is simple: to empower others to reach their full potential, break barriers, and drive lasting change in industries, workplaces, and communities worldwide.
